Overview
Away from the tourist rush
Kotabagh lies on the road less taken into Jim Corbett, where the resorts thin out and the fields run up against the forest. Our property here is deliberately modest in scale — thirty-four rooms set low among gardens, with lawns wide enough for a cricket match and shade enough to sit out the afternoon.
What guests remember is the quiet, and the staff. Most of our team live within a few kilometres of the gate; they know which trail the langurs use in the morning and which grandmother in your group takes her tea without sugar.
It works equally well two ways: as a family holiday where nobody has to be anywhere, and as a corporate offsite where the sessions run in the hall and the honest work happens later, around the bonfire.
